1. As the seasons change, so does the produce that comes from our farms. We promise to use only the freshest, local and seasonal ingredients we can procure. 2. We are a restaurant with a very small kitchen. However, Chef Corey and his staff do big things in that tiny kitchen, and we promise to make everything fresh and from scratch every day. 3. With a Certified Sommelier, and Betty our bar manager and first level Sommelier, we promise to have an educated staff that can assist you in your wine selections at any time. 4. As a recipient of Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence, we promise to have the most eclectic, coolest wine list around. We don’t have the most expensive wines, and you might not be able to pronounce them all, but give something new a try. 5. As a Virginia Green restaurant, we promise to recycle and use recycled, up-cycled, and biodegradable materials whenever possible. 6. We promise to maintain a comfortable, non-pretentious environment and a relaxing atmosphere. You will always be able to snag an affordable bottle of wine, grab a sandwich or one of the Chef’s seasonal entrees, and just relax. Come as you are. 7. We love where we live. We try to support local businesses, as reflected on our menu. 8. We promise to have friendly, professional, and knowledgable staff to provide a great dining experience.
